Choose a route that fits

Use the current Manitoba Parks trail map and check access and closures before leaving. Carry water, suitable footwear and an offline route. Tell someone where you are going when heading farther afield.

Bring your binoculars

Watch quietly from a distance. Shorelines, wetland edges and woods offer different opportunities to observe birds, with sightings changing through the seasons. Never disturb nests or cross a closure to get closer.

Leave the habitat intact

Stay on marked routes, keep dogs under physical control where permitted, and leave flowers, wood and natural objects where they belong. Avoid approaching or feeding wildlife.
